20 mins Ritual Music Performance, Various Media (masks, candles, coloured sand, pussywillow catkins, wildflower seeds, earth, acorn initiation necklaces, sage and sweetgrass smudge sticks, bells, percussion, vocals).
With my four assistants I performed an elaborate composite Spring rite actively involving the audience. The organic and traditional aspects of this ritual contrasted sharply with the secular gallery context resulting in an interesting friction.
